Aim

The book of (re)knowledge method is about giving each other a gift by taking real time between members of the same group to highlight the qualities and talents of each individual.

Instructions

Time needed: 35 to 45 minutes

Key steps

As a facilitator, you display the canvas on the wall or on the floor. You will have previously added a photo or the name of participants to the canvas so that each participant has their own.

  1. Invite each participant to move freely in the space to fill in each member’s “book of (re) knowledge” under the following three headings (10 to 15 minutes depending on the number of participants):

  1. Everyone has 10 minutes to read the comments on their “book” and to think individually about the following questions:

Taking note of the answers to these questions can help with the personal reflection needed before returning to the main group.

  1. Lastly, you invite participants who wish to share all or part of their thinking during a closing circle round (10 to 15 minutes depending on the number of participants).
