Object to (re)present yourself

Talk about yourself differently

Pratique

Aim

The object for (re)presenting yourself is the same as “outside-the-box” presentations. Everyone is free to choose by which informal medium they want to use to present themselves: a photo of themselves as a child, an object they care about or that symbolises something important, an object in the room, linked to a passion, a mood, etc.

Instructions

Time needed: 15 to 30 minutes

Materials:
One object per person

Key steps

Before the working session, participants are invited to bring an object that (re)presents them.

On the day of the exercise, as a facilitator, you invite each participant in turn to present their object and the reasons for their choice in one minute.

When everyone has had a chance to speak, you can offer to share the surprises that the objects may have generated.
